Introduction to Algebra: Variables
Today we took a small break from new angles ideas and introduced the concept of variables, algebra and modeling with algebra.

Interior Angles in Polygons
Today we investigated the sum of the interior angles in polygons. We knew that triangles create a sum of 180 degrees, but found that quadrilaterals have a total sum of 360 degrees, and that the easiest way to find the sum of other polygons is to count the number of triangles you can create inside them and times that by 180 degrees.
Our HW is on the handout: Interior Angles of Polygons and page 394 #2,3,5,7.
