Today we reviewed key ideas that we have studied this semester about algebra and prepared for our summative test on Thursday this week. BIG ideas from today were:

- we solve equations with opposite operations

- good communication/form when solving equations is to have an equation with one equal sign in each line of your solution, and show your opposite operations

- Pythagorean Theorem is known as the "sum of squares" and for right triangles it has an algebraic form of a^2 + b^2 = c^2

- To find the sum of the interior angles in a polygon (anysided figure), you count the number of full triangles you can draw and times by 180 degrees.

We finished the first 3 question on our formative quiz today and the rest was assigned for homework to be completed tonight and handed in at the start of period A so they can be marked and returned by the end of the period.
