Today we consolidated our previous four lessons on algebra. We discussed key terms like model, simplify and solve, and then defined each. We talked about the difference between an equation and expression and decided that they were both models, but expressions were unsolvable, whereas equations were solvable.

We also practiced modeling, simplifying and solving in the three ways we had to this point (angles, perimeter and area). Our homework was to do the Practice questions #1-5 from the handout.
